I was diagnosed with Melanoma in June 2010.  After a larger margin surgery and central lymph node biopsy in July it was found in 3 more lymph nodes, making this Stage III melanoma.  In August, the rest of the lymph nodes were removed from under my right arm.  The melanoma was on my right shoulder.  I have been on Interferon treatments since October.  I am remaining optimistic.  The treatments are very hard to get through mentally and physically.  I, like so many others, want people to be educated about the seriousness of Melanoma.  It is not just skin cancer.
