Caregiver to dad.

3/2011 - After continued dizziness following a few falls in late 2010 and early 2011 (took from Jan til March for him to go to the doctor), found dad had 6 brain tumors and 11 in lungs, plus a few more in abdomen. Had no ins., had to move him immediately to my town for drs/ treatment, file for charity care, etc.
4/2011 - Before conclusive biopsy came back: 15 WBR treatments along with dechadron (8mg highest dose, weaned down to 2 and 1 mg at different times), then followed by 4 cycles of Temodar 3wks on/ 1 off).
10/2011 - Still waiting for BRAF results. Still on dechadron (and more) to help with brain edema, appetite, etc.
As of 9/2011 - Most tumors "stable" not growing or shrinking, but 2 on spleen and colon have grown very slightly, and two largest in brain have shrunk by 1/2 and 1/3.
