Judy D's Profile

About Judy D

I am a widow, mom and an instructional aid for special needs children.
I am a Christian and believe God has a plan for me and my family. What that is I am not sure yet. My husband also had cancer. He was diagnosed with Colon rectal cancer 4 years ago and together we fought to support one another. He passed away this July after a very courageous battle. He is my earthly hero.It is by Gods grace we did as well as we did and I continue to do.

Personal Motto

Phillipeans 4:13
I, we, you can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Treatment History

Mole removed and scooped out. Went approx. 9 years reapeared in lymph node in groin. Lymph nodes removed, went on Interferon for one year. went almost 3 years to the day of last diagnosis and it appeared in my lung. Did IL-2 for year and was all most done when the beast decided to travel to my other lung. I am now on the clinical trial For Ipi. I am doing well and feel great. God willing I will beat this beast. When Ipi failed I went on clinical trial for Zelobraf. I was on trial for 8 months, doing well when one spot in lower abdomen would not go away. surgery scheduled, spot removed and now NED. I am still doing Zelobraf and feeling pretty good. GOD IS GOOD!!!
