Joe (Peck) F Garner II, Dr.

August 11, 1951 to October 26, 2013

THE JOY YOU GAVE US IS MUCH GREATER THAN THE SADNESS WE FEEL.

Peck was the perfect Father, Husband, Grandfather, Physician, Friend, Brother and  Son.  He fought melanoma for over ten years.  However, as one of his doctors said, he never saw his melanoma as a diagnosis, only as an inconvenience.   We are so thankful that we had the opportunity with Peck  to say goodbye, laugh, smile, sail, drink beer, travel, play with the grandchildren, dress up like pirates, see all 4 children graduate from college, spend time with friends and family, cry, ride bikes, look at stars, garden and gather strength to let him go.  We are so amazed by his faith and strength and look forward to seeing him again in heaven.  We thank God for the great gift of time and the gift of the Holy spirit which was so present the day Peck went home.  He is loved and missed each and every day.

Thank you Peck for your love, strength, faith and spirit!

Sail on Peck, Cheers!
