Off-Topic Forum

The MPIP Off-Topic Forum is a community bulletin board that provides the melanoma community with a safe space to share experiences and to give and find support from others who can relate to having or caring for someone with a melanoma diagnosis. Please note: if you have an urgent question about melanoma to ask the community, visit the main MPIP Forum.

MPIP is the oldest and largest community of people affected by melanoma hosted through the Melanoma Research Foundation. It is designed to provide support and information to caregivers, patients, family and friends. Once you have been touched by melanoma—either as a patient or as a family member or friend of a patient—you become part of a community. It is not a community anyone joins willingly. But if you must be part of this group, you will find no better place to find the tools you need in your journey with this cancer, and the friends who can make that journey more bearable.

The information on the bulletin board is open and accessible to everyone. To add a new topic or to post a reply, you must be a registered user. Please note that you will be able to post both topics and replies anonymously even though you are logged in. All posts must abide by MRF posting policies.

In my opinion, some of you are being rude and obnoxious by knocking other threads off the page, with your repeated experiments in picture posting.  No one is going to go to page 2, so please allow some recent threads to endure for a while.

Try to economize. Keep you experiments within the same thread, please. After all, how would you like it if I wrote 5 or 10 more separate posts about board manners?

I just noticed that the other pics I tried are the size that I intended...you fixed them from their colossalness!  Trying one more time:

Hubs at the Helm  Hubs at the Helm

This time I used one of Photobucket's preset sizes from the edit menu; might have helped too.

Thanks!  You rock.

You thought they were collecting the garbage when they went down the aisle with a plastic bag in their hands repeating, "You're trash, you're trash, you're trash" ?

So Bonnie,

Posting from PhotoBucket...

I went to share and direct link for layout pages and copied the http stuff.  Then I opened the little image icon next to the smiley and pasted into the URL box.  Then (since my pic was giant!), I had to do a redo so  I adjusted the height to 500 and it automatically adjusted the width and hit okay.  (I don't know what the other stuff does.  I will futz with it later as I gotta go and do my P90X workout now so I can hurt.

But I am gonna hit the spellcheck button 'cos it is also nifty and new.

HMMM- so futz isn't a real word?  Who knew.

Take good care, K.
