The Melanoma Research Foundation (MRF) is the largest independent, national organization devoted to melanoma in the United States. Committed to the support of medical research in finding effective treatments and eventually a cure for melanoma, the MRF also educates patients and physicians about prevention, diagnosis and the treatment of melanoma. The MRF is an active advocate for the melanoma community, helping to raise awareness of this disease and the need for a cure.

Manager, Corporate Relations
As part of this expansion, MRF has created a new position to focus on fundraising in the corporate sector. The position will be responsible for the following:
• About 50% of the position will focus on securing corporate sponsorship for wide array of special events
• About 25% of the position will work with pharmaceutical companies to secure funding for patient education initiatives
• About 25% of the position will explore cause-related marketing opportunities.
The successful candidate will have at least 3 years experience in non-profit fundraising, with a focus on events or corporate relations, and seeking to take the next step in their fundraising career.
Additional Qualifications:
• Energetic, self-motivated, and committed
• Ability to travel on occasion as needed
• Good grasp of corporate culture and corporate fundraising
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong team player
Education:
Some college course work preferred
Salary:
$50,000 to $60,000
Position Location:
Headquartered in Hillsborough, NJ, the MRF has a strong and growing presence in Washington, DC. The successful candidate may be able to work remotely, but location in Hillsborough, NJ or the Washington, DC areas are preferred.
