Is a mitotic rate of 3 considered very high? I'm just trying to get a grasp on my pathology report.
I think that less than 4 is good. More than 6 is not so good. Hope that helps.
3 does not sound too bad. My initial pathology report: Breslow >8mm, Clark level V, ulceration present, mitotic rate of 7. Put me at IIC to start. Granted I am now stage IV (but NED)... nonetheless, you are not a set of numbers so don't dwell on them.
