Stage IV Fighter!

July 2016, I found a lump on my neck. After testing, a biopsy and removal of 5 lymph nodes, got the news that it is metastatic melanoma. I was referred to City of Hope where I underwent a neck dissection and had an additional 92 lymph nodes removed. After more testing and waiting, found out that it had metastasized to my brain with 2 brain mets. After SRS brain radiation, I am now finally receiving my Pembro every 3 weeks.

One treatment down, second is Monday. Staying positive for my 2 year old daughter, but have my rough days. Grateful to have this site for support and information!

All of your stories are truly inspiring!!!
